Iced coffee might be the biggest racket on the planet, but darnit if it isn’t super delicious and refreshing on a warm day.
I’ll tell you a secret, though: it’s just coffee! Why not make a little extra one of these weekend mornings? Then let it cool down in a glass vessel of some kind and then keep it in the fridge until you’re in need of refreshment. Pour over ice and add some milk (regular or I highly recommend soy!) and enjoy. Or save it and make your Monday morning feel pretty awesome when you see everyone else waiting in line at the coffee shop (full disclosure: I buy plenty of coffee drinks, but I try to limit my purchases there to stuff I can’t easily make at home).
And if you want to make your drink a little more awesome, you can do like Dave suggested and make ice cubes out of coffee too. Pour some iced coffee over coffee ice cubes… Oh baby.
