I was totally surprised to look out the front door Monday afternoon and notice that our CSA box was sitting on the front porch. Kudos, Organics To You!

I’m also really excited for the rainbow chard….
I actually still have my beets from last time, so those two are going to make a very happy salad for my lunch tomorrow. And probably with some OJ dressing!
These guys, apparently, are wax beans. Very similar to green beans. Very much going in a delicious bean salad with a vinaigrette. Maybe a bacon vinaigrette. Hmm.. Also: “vinaigrette” is my new spelling nemesis.
And, last but not least, the lovely fruit:
I’m thinking these apples might be good in a salad with some Gorgonzola and nuts. We’re already down one apple and uh, that core I just threw in the compost makes one pear down as well.
I’m also really excited about roasting those poblano chiles and putting them in some salsa. We’re making veggie tacos (burritos? Burrito bowls? We’ll see) tonight and I am definitely going to try ’em out.
