Fall Tastiness at Saint Cupcake

by Rebekahcooked up on October 16, 2012

Last week I had the pleasure of attending a little Happy Hour at Saint Cupcake downtown! It was definitely the remedy for the first really crappy rainy day of the year, and it wasn’t really that little. We got to taste amazing pies, ice creams, cookies and candy!

Jami told us that Saint Cupcake has been experimenting with two things: smoking flour and sugar, and pie/ice cream combos. Sometimes together!

My favorite was definitely this Smokey Chocolate Flake ice cream – the sugar used to make the ice cream was smoked! It reminded me of Drumsticks, but with more flavor dimensions. SO good, but my photo of it was NOT good. 🙁

We also got to taste some new candies – these are little chocolate-like drops with fun toppings:

I was so stuffed, I had to take the caramels for the road. And by road, I mean I did put them in my purse for like an hour. Then I ate them.

Parting shot? OK, fine. I’ve always wanted to be BEHIND the counter at a cupcake shop. This is why:
