Five Tips for Feasting Like A Pro
Feast like a pro, with these tips from a 5-year veteran!
We made these treats for a certain baby’s first birthday party this weekend, but I think they’d be pretty rad for your Super Bowl party next weekend.
This study is based on my intensive research gobbling a million of these this weekend.
Here’s what you need:
Before you begin, prepare a brownie pan by greasing it well, adding a layer of parchment paper and then greasing again.
Melt the butter in a large pot or Dutch oven over low to medium heat. When the butter is melted, start slowly adding marshmallows, and stirring constantly. DO NOT turn up the heat. As the marshmallow in the pan soften, you can add a few more at a time. It will probably take about 10 minutes to have them totally melted.
Remove the pot from the heat. Add the Cheerios one cup at a time, as you stir. Try to get as even of a coat as possible over all of the cereal.
Move the mixture to the brownie pan and flatten with a spatula. If the mixture has cooled most of the way, you can grease your hands and use them to flatten the bars.
Microwave the chocolate chips and cream/milk for 15-second intervals, stirring in between sessions until melted and smooth. Drizzle over the top of the bars. Follow with sprinkles, chocolate chips, or whatever you like!
Allow to cool for ten minutes before slicing (don’t wait longer, or they will be very hard to slice).
