Southern Biscuits with Sawmill Gravy
My husband's amazing take on a childhood favorite of mine.
Hey everyone, I have some exciting news! I have two cocktails going on the menu at Lincoln Restaurant right here in Portland. My friend, Chef Jenn Louis, runs an amazing restaurant that’s been near and dear to my heart for many years, so I’m really excited to be able to share two recipes on her menu this winter. I’ll be back to share photos later, but I wanted to share the press release with you all!
Check it out below 🙂

Lincoln Teams up with REBEKAH HUBBARD of PDXFOODLOVE and features her cocktails on the menu!
For the remainder of the year Lincoln Restaurant will be featuring two cocktails by Rebekah Hubbard, best known from her great blog and social media PDXfoodlove. The following are names and descriptions of her cocktails, perfectly paired with the flavors on chef Jenn Louis’ menu and the winter season.
Bright, dry lambrusco highlighted with orange and cardamom flavors make the perfect easy drinker for winter nights. The citrus notes and sparkling wine make it a perfect balance for rich winter foods.
Classic Italian amaros and winter citrus bring new life to this cousin of the Manhattan. Spirit forward winter sippers don’t need to be so serious – the light acidity of the grapefruit makes this perfect for pairing with dinner or dessert.

About Lincoln Restaurant
Lincoln loves the balance of the old, sturdy and reliable, but there is something to be said about the modern as well: it’s shiny; it’s sparkly. Who doesn’t love that? But let’s face it: classic, old school simplicity is synonymous with comfort and pleasure. Lincoln is that balance between old and new, modern and classic, rustic and refined, casual and formal, everyday and special occasion. Lincoln plays with flavors and textures based on a diverse world they are influenced by.
