Well, this is terrifying! I made a video.
I have to be honest, I’ve been sitting on this one for a while. It makes me really nervous to share it! I put a lot of thought and work into this, and it wasn’t easy. I’m thankful that I have a very supportive husband who was willing to be my director (thanks, Dave).
I decided to do a video about making a pie crust because it is perceived as being so darned difficult. I promise that it’s not! They take 5 minutes, tops, to whip together when you use a food processor. Don’t believe me? Watch the video. I demonstrate the entire process on camera and the video is just 5:30 ish – and that includes probably 45 seconds of me rolling the pastry out and placing it in the pie tin. You do need to plan a little time for the pastry to chill in the fridge, but I decided to not film that part. Heh.
Anyway. I’m interested to hear if this is helpful for you all! It was definitely a lot of work to produce but I hope it’s informative. Some things are just better if you can see the steps in more than stills.
