This past weekend Dave and I have been in Florida with his parents, sisters and one sister’s boyfriend. Fort Myers, to be precise. By the time most of you will read this, we’ll be back in the snows (haha!) of Oregon.

We ate plenty of fresh fish, enjoyed warm, sunny weather (most days! we did have one chilly day) and had a lovely time relaxing with our family – that part is especially important.  I just wanted to share a few photos from the last four days.

And like any vacation, it’s been a fun adventure but has also been time away from our little nest in Portland, and I’m looking forward to being home and getting back to the routine. This trip has been the perfect amount of time away – long enough to totally disconnect from everyday life, short enough to make me still a little sad to leave.
