This past weekend Dave and I headed out to Albeke Farm in Oregon City with some friends to pick our own apples.

It was so nice to get out of the city and spend some time on a farm. This post will mostly be photos of our trip.

We couldn’t believe how dark the soil was.

Fall decor was also on sale, along with tons of produce.

Colorful corn!

I don’t know what it was, but everything seemed so bright and beautiful out there.

It’s almost time to pick the Concord grapes.

I love the stripes.

More lovely squash.

Not bad prices, either.

Dave inspects for spots. You know what they say about one bad apple!

I happened to find the perfect apple.

I can’t help but love the old-school scale at the checkout.

We had such a fun time! But we haven’t used the apples yet. We’re definitely making applesauce and apple turnovers. We’ll have to wait and see what else!
