This week saw a chaotic scene as a driver recklessly crashed their car into a utility pole in Seattle. This took place at 1st Ave S & S Stacy and can be seen toward the end of the video. Strangely enough, the car began its journey in a straight line, before later veering off towards the pole. When watching this, it’s almost as if the driver purposely aimed at the pole.

Even though it didn’t look to be driving that quickly, the car ended up downing the pole and causing huge amounts of damage in the process. This was recorded by local CCTV which gives us a higher view of the crash, which only highlights the strange driving even more.

This odd driving pattern led locals to speculate whether the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Honestly, this would be a solid assumption based on the above. Of course, we can’t say so right now as there’s not enough evidence.

However, others speculated that it could also have been caused by a medical issue such as a heart attack or a stroke, which also cannot be ruled out. On a brighter note, things could have been worse for the driver if they ended up crashing into a brick wall, so thankfully it wasn’t fatal. Such was the force of the crash, that it was met with a fire truck after to help resurrect the pole.
