According to this article, the median price of a house in Portland is $537,200 in 2023. Obviously, PDX is a nice place to live – but this is understandably not a cheap city either. As a result, you may be temped to look around for unorthodox methods of home ownership that are out of the box, so to speak.

Whilst living here would certainly be tight, it also makes good use of the little space it has, with an array of shelving units tucked away for maximum efficiency. It also featured in a Portlandia episode which showed it in all of it’s glory.

Whilst some have labeled it cozy, others have posed more of a cynical view, calling it an unrealistic long-term living space, that is too small for most people to live in day to day. As a result, it’s understandable why this property listing has divided Portland residents.
