Bizarre Oakland light pole poster gets HILARIOUS response from confused local
Every now and then, someone does something bizarre which gets a funny response. In a street in Oakland, this recently happened and the result got a few laughs. The incident began last week when a poster appeared on a light pole. Here, it said “Unhappy about tower – Ever since Mike put up his own electrical tower to make his own electric, my daughter won’t stop making this man (a clay figure). She’s getting clay from the river. She will make the man for hours, she is different. Meeting of neighbors to discuss Mike’s electrical tower and how it’s affecting us.”
As you may have figured, there’s a lot to unpack with this one. In fairness, the electrical tower does look imposing. Nonetheless, what does this have to do with clay figures and their daughter? Understandably, this poster is strange to say the least. This is where the follow-up poster comes in, and its response is brilliance.
This one reads, “Neighborhood tower watch – Follow up questions: What year is this? Who is Mike? Where is Lacrosse Street? Is it helpful if we all start making similar art? How can we democratically vote on electric? Do we need a time machine to reply?”
In brief, there’s a lot of unanswered questions – and we don’t know who is more odd, the original poster creator or Mike? As if it wasn’t crazy enough, a quick search shows that N Lacrosse Street doesn’t seem to exist in Oakland either. Sadly, this one seems to have created more questions than answers. However, it does highlight how strange your neighbors can be.
