Chillingly creepy Pincushion Doll for sale in Portland comes with risk to buyers
Over the years, we’ve seen some unusual sights in Portland – however, this one has to be up there for being one of the most creepy things within the region. Found on Facebook Marketplace, this artifact was put up for sale by a user named Benjamin Page. At first glance, it looks a bit odd but the description is what sets it apart from your average item.
From the listing, it reads “VINTAGE 1960’S PRIDE CREATIONS- VICTORIAN MUSICIAN WOMAN- PINCUSHION bank item located in our store in SE Portland can be picked up. Not responsible if it comes with a ghost.”
As seen, this is a pincushion that sits on top of a strange woman, who is playing a flute. Not only this but her outfit also has bizarre markings and creepy, bony fingers. Obviously, it is the last sentence that should sound alarm bells for those interested, as it reads “Not responsible if it comes with a ghost”
Seeing as this looks odd to begin with, combined with the fact it has pins (which have long been associated with voodoo dolls), this would either make a cool antique or it could be the in the next Chucky or Anabelle movie. This is Portland after all, where life is rarely mundane. The doll is located in SE Portland and will set you back $65.
