COWARDLY Dog Owners Flee From Scene In Portland Attack – Can YOU Help Track Them Down?
In a recent reddit thread, a Portland local was riding their bike down SE 28th when they came accross an altercation. As you can see from the video, a man in a grey hoody and a woman in black can be seen pulling their dogs away from an innocent victim of yet another dog attack in the city.
This is not the first time this year something like this has happened, and surely won’t be the last either. Just last months a pitbull made the headlines in Portland for all the wrong reasons after randomly attacking a runner.
The reddit user provides a still image of the lady in black at the 20 seconds mark of the video. As the user was riding their bike, this is pretty much the best shot they could get of the altercation. The video has since been shared on social media in order to find the two people responsible.
During the video its stated that the woman in black asks if the other dog owner if their canine is OK. After seeing the visible damage of the attack, she then runs away from the scene with the man in the grey hoody.
This incident is bad enough whilst both dogs are on leashes. However, if the dogs were unleashed, incidents like this can become much, much worse.
Regarding the legality of Pitbulls in general, advocates for breed-specific regulations argue that pitbulls, which include several breeds such as the American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and American Staffordshire Terrier, have the potential to cause harm due to their physical attributes and historical association with fighting. They believe that regulations such as breed bans or restrictions can help prevent dog attacks and enhance public safety.
On the other hand, opponents of breed-specific regulations argue that such measures are ineffective and unfair. They contend that focusing on breed rather than individual behavior is misguided because any dog, regardless of breed, has the potential to exhibit aggressive behavior. These opponents advocate for responsible dog ownership laws that focus on owner education, licensing, and enforcement of existing leash and containment laws.

They live at Wimbledon square that’s a guarantee
We had several AmStaffs over the years. If properly trained, they are fantastic dogs, especially with children. They will die protecting the kids. They have a high pain threshold. They will let kids pull, jump, and otherwise rough play with them. One of our kittens would bite on their jowls and the dog would let it.
The issue is AmStaff dogs need proper training. Training should be mandatory. They should not be someone’s first dog because of the need for training.
It’s a classic case of untrained people that don’t know how to handle their dog to ban and his specific breed is the same as racism it’s wrong people need to go through training in order to know how to handle each and every dog
