Often, it’s claimed that Portland, OR is full of interesting characters. Sometimes, this may be a bit exaggerated. However, in this case it looks to be perfectly true. In this bizarre room advert posted on Craigslist, you can rent out a room for $250 in a self-described ‘Magikal home’. It also claims to be called “The Lighthouse Temple” but doesn’t state whether the room cost is for one week or one month.

Nonetheless, for a place in SE PDX, Abernathy – this isn’t a bad deal…provided you’re ok living with a new age witch.

As seen, this house is filled with plants, pictures and even an ornament that has ‘potions’ written on it. Based on the picture below, the garden looks to have grown into the kitchen somewhat! The ad also includes “Looking for Conscious Creative Free Thinkers and Magikal folk” and claims that no drugs are allowed in the home, whilst literally also claiming to be 420 friendly a few sentences later.

In fairness, this house does look like it might be good fun, and actually has quite a few things going for it, which include:

– Fire pit
– Bunnies outside
– Walking distance to MAX, NEW SEASONS, PEOPLE’S CO-OP

So, if ever you’ve wanted to live in a magical house that is oracle readings and ceremonial gatherings, then now is your chance. As we said earlier, Portland is full of unusual characters!
