How is this Irvine home over $1 million? Its damage will SHOCK you
When typically thinking about homes in Irvine, you may naturally think of luxury properties. However, this house was far from luxury and looked like it had been trashed. Curiously, it also simultaneously looked like it was straight out of a 1970s time capsule.
The video was shared on Tiktok by an Orange County real estate agent who was possibly trying to shift the property. In a statement of the housing market in Irvine, this was listed for $1.1 million – which showed just how expensive the local market has gotten. Even more staggeringly, this was also discounted by $99,000. Watch the video below and judge it for yourself.
Starting with the first room, it is filled with books and has some serious water damage on the ceiling. The kitchen showed a similar story with even more trash, and even the beams in the yard were damaged as well. Moving onto the other rooms and surprise, surprise – even more trash and damage, with yet more ceiling issues.
Interestingly, this property hasn’t sold in over two months on the market. Generally, this is very rare for an Irvine property and speaks volumes. Even though most Irvine properties cost over a million, this seems incredibly expensive for its condition.
Sadly, this would have made a great house in normal condition. But that’s the point – the condition isn’t normal and may even need demolishing. One day it may sell, but at this price and condition, it won’t happen anytime soon.
