Huge Police presence seen on 12th from Josephine to Columbine sparks rumors
Earlier today, a huge police presence was seen on 12th from Josephine to Columbine which sparked rumors among locals. As seen, a large crowd of cops gathered on the corner, which was accompanied by various unmarked cars – with one even making a temporary roadblock. This was also combined with local text messages which warned people to stay inside.
Because of this, it’s not too surprising that this sight captivated Denver residents as it’s not exactly something that you see every day, nor was it just the odd cop either. Unsurprisingly, there was a very serious reason for the police force on the street, and we can now reveal exactly what happened.
Earlier, we spoke to the Denver police department PIO and they claimed to have received a report of an assault and a gunshot fired this morning. They believed that the suspect was holed up in their residence. This makes sense, considering the huddle suggests that the police force was planning an operation.
UPdate: It looks as though this incident is still ongoing, with an ambulance now on the scene and news crews have since arrived. With this in mind, it looks pretty serious and we can only hope for the best and pray that it ends with an amicable, safe solution with no casualties. We will try to keep you updated as things unfold.
