It’s no secret that Indianapolis was recently blasted by storms and for most people this was a minor inconvenience and novelty. However, for the owner of these two cars in the picture, it meant a lot more hassle compared to the average person.

As seen in the image below, a massive tree was downed by the storm that landed smack bang into both cars. Since then, the local council has cut the tree in half to re-open the road as a travel route. However, in a cruel twist for the car owners, there still remains a massive chunk of tree that is squashing their vehicles.

Classic car fans look away now, as the silver car on the left was also a Porsche 924 which has a deservedly cult following. This damage occurred over the weekend in the Fountain Square neighborhood of Indianapolis and also took out a Chevy too. On a brighter note, at least the insurance company won’t be able to wriggle out of this one due to the obvious proof.

As bad as the damage was, the main positive to come from this is that it at least didn’t hurt or kill anyone. Due to the sheer size of the tree, this could have caused real damage if it landed on a human. And, as seen, if it can do that to a couple of cars then it cold easily squash a person. Thankfully, it looks like the worst of the storm has passed for now.
