If you’ve been living in Charlotte lately then you may have encountered the most annoying vehicle ever. Specifically, we’re talking about the car that is pictured below. Although this thing looks pretty cool and is reminiscent of the Batmobile, this is annoying purely down to the way it sounds. Specifically, it has a noise of a loud motorbike which is often accompanied by some kind of music system fitted on it.

In other words, imagine a very loud bike doing laps around your neighborhood while blaring out the loudest music possible. This is why Charlotte locals are fed up with this vehicle that has even been described as “A pest on wheels.” That’s not forgetting their ridiculously bright lights either.

What also doesn’t help with this stereotype is the type of music they blare out. Usually, this is some kind of corny genre that has a lot of base and the shouting of lyrics. Typically, this is accompanied by dangerously high speeds and a lack of concern for personal safety (including no helmet) while driving around uptown.

For those wondering, this car is called the Polaris Slingshot and they’re actually cheaper than they look. These cost around $20,000 which may be one of the reasons why they’re so common around Charlotte. As well, these things are perfectly road legal. Not that this is exactly a good thing for locals!
