Today, a famous bus was photographed while out and about in Anchorage. We’re talking about the iconic ‘sticker bus’ which many of you may have seen before. This is a bright yellow bus (which was probably once an RV) that is literally covered in various stickers. It also has a big sign on the back that reads ‘The Sticker bus JR’. Interestingly, this indicates that there was once a bigger, older bus out there.

So, what is this bus and its purpose? Well, it’s not just for novelty, nor is it the result of a mentally ill Anchorage resident. Instead, it’s an actual business that specializes in custom stickers (surprise, surprise). Apparently, these can be purchased on the spot, so it may be that the bus is fitted with some kind of hardware inside.

Recently, this bus was photographed at Seward hwy and Northern Lights Blvd and often brightens up people’s day – especially when the weather is bad! When you think about it, it’s actually a pretty smart form of marketing.
