Orange County locals are ALL saying the same thing about this car dealership – And it’s not good

July 4, 2023 by 4 Comments

A recent discussion on social media sparked a wider debate surrounding the legitimacy of this one car dealership located in Orange County. Here, a resident found a discounted car online that also offered 0.9% financing. When they went in to buy the car, the dealer told them that they couldn’t have either and eventually, the purchase fell through because of this snag.

Now, the interesting this is that CA has a law that the advertised price online or in print must be honored or sold at a lower price. This means that if the alleged claims are true, then the car dealership went against the laws of the state.

The car dealership in question was named as Tustin Buick GMC – and it turns out that many others had previous run-ins with them. One local said, “Their service department is just as shady as their sales department. Took my truck in for a basic oil change and got it back with them saying I had 5k worth of repairs. I Took my truck to another GMC-certified dealership and they quoted me a third of Tustin Buick GMCs price. They lost all of my respect and business after that day.”

Elsewhere, a similar story emerged as another person added: “I bought from Tustin Buick GMC. Terrible experience to say the least. But I got my truck.”

Sadly, these weren’t the only disparaging reviews of the place and there were plenty more. With this said, if you have any stories of this car dealership then let us know in the comments.

I sold cars once so if you have an issue like either of these, just contact California Bureau of Automotive repairs and you’ll get your money plus they will be find for these pratices.

Same for Hemborg Ford in Norco. Poor service and amazing how they find things wrong. I was told after a recent visit after they did all this work a few hours later, I had a cooelant leak . I brought back to then as they obviously did something wrong and them quote me over 1900
00 to have the leak fixed. I had it fixed for 300 from another dealer

Kia of Irvine. Liars and deceptive. Put deposit down to bring in cash for a 23 Kia Sportage. Next day, went to buy the car they were holding for me. They said it was recalled for mechanical defects and my Kia was not available. I contacted Kia Corporate office and was told that my car was sold the next day to someone else. After seven days, my deposit was still not refunded. I went in and demanded my deposit back and they did it at that time. Unusual charges were added for misc. stuff that was not declared.

I took worked at a dealership for many years and there were the ones you had to watch out for and then there were the honest ones, just like everything else. Don’t be surprised, do your part, because folks it is never going to change, it can’t. That line that the buyer and the seller stand on is blurred because situations. In sales you go in to buy a car, your the buyer, have a trade- in ? Now your the seller, it’s the same deal and your position changed , so you see it can’t change under the current way we deal with the business.
