PDX Police swoop arrests several shoplifters

On Saturday, during a retail theft operation at the Hollywood Fred Meyer area, Portland Police apprehended eight individuals. The mission was organized and executed by a small team comprising a sergeant and several officers from North Precinct.
The arrested individuals and their charges are as follows:
- Tahneida Owens, 34, charged with Theft in the First Degree.
- Robert Chapman, 63, charged with Theft in the Third Degree.
- Johnnie Thomas Shepherd, 48, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Warrant – Parole Violation (Meth), and Warrant – Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
- Alexander Wener, 30, charged with Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, Trespass in the Second Degree, Theft in the Second Degree, and a Warrant.
- Richard Reed, 32, charged with Criminal Mischief in the First Degree, Felony Traffic Offenses, and a Warrant.
- David Allen Mullins, 44, charged with Theft in the Third Degree.
- Izayah Johnson, 24, charged with Theft in the Third Degree.
- Robin Malcom, 43, charged with Theft in the Third Degree.
During the operation, the team successfully recovered stolen goods, confiscated drugs, and detained eight individuals. Portland Police have plans to carry out more similar missions in the near future.
