PDX Shoppers SHOCKED By Disgusting Roses
You may have thought that 50% off was a good deal for a bouquet of roses. However, even if the starting price was 38 cents, you still wouldn’t have bought these for your worst enemy. Furthermore, even if you wanted to buy them, in this particular store, it may be challenging finding an open register.
Found at a Target store in Halsey, Portland, this embarassing display shows truly how short staffed the store must be.
It is not known just how long these flowers were sitting on display for, but it is likely many days past the 50% markdown. It’s likely that these were marked down after Mothers Day which was Sunday 14th May, some 9 days prior. The bunch on the left looks particularly bad, with absolutely no red pigment remaining in any of the petals.
Local residents have already complained about how understaffed this store has been in the past, with this particular Target having only 2.4 stars on google reviews.
Customers are particularly annoyed about the lack of customer service (which makes sense that removing dead roses is probably #194 on the list of things to do). Reviews from the store include deodorant being locked in a case and no staff around to get it out.
As well as another customer trying to buy allergy medication from the pharmacy before realizing that no staff members actually had a key to open the cabinet. One customer even mentions that beef jerkey is now behind a lock!
It makes us wonder how a store can survive with so much of its products locked up in cabinets, yet no staff around to unlock them. Dead roses are certainly not going to get the store back on track in any case.
