Yesterday I was in the Naito area of the city and noticed a new restaurant! As this is primarily a food-based-Portland blog, I am always delighted to see new spots pop up in the city as this really speaks to my inner-foodie.

As a result, I intend to visit PokeMaki next week and will do a review of it. For those that don’t know, PokeMaki is a chain restaurant that primarily serves Poke, Sushi, and Ramen. However, just because it’s a chain – you shouldn’t worry, as it’s still got a good reputation and doesn’t skimp where fresh ingredients and quality is concerned.

For those wondering, the address is 1264 NW Naito Pky, Portland, OR 97209 and its opening hours are 11AM-9PM. In the meantime, I may also be tempted to whip out my own DIY Poke menu that I’ve been using for years!
