It’s been months since the Thai D Jing food truck was last sighted outside of Tulane Hospital. This food truck vanished for a while which may have been due to repairs or for reasons unknown. However, it is a firm favorite with medical workers at the New Orleans hospital. In fact, even in the picture provided, you can see a nurse lining up to get some delicious Thai food.

Although the brick-and-mortar Thai D Jing location has been around throughout, hospital workers and patients (as well as people nearby Tulane Hospital) definitely went without while this venue-on-wheels was temporarily absent.

According to some, this food truck has the best Pad Thai recipe in the entire New Orleans area. And based on the public reaction to this place’s return, we can’t say that we disagree either. Furthermore, this comes weeks after La Cocinita returned to the same location as well.

For those who can’t get down to Tulane Hospital, this food truck is also at Gretna farmer’s market every Saturday, while their physical location isn’t too far either. So, if Thai food is your thing then you’re in luck. Similarly, if you’ve never tried it then here would be a good place to start. Trust us, you won’t regret it.
