Portland woman FREEZES dead cat after savage dog mauling

Just a few days ago, a Portland resident named Soren High made a TikTok video that showed her dry freeze her dead cat, to preserve her feline friend forever. This apparently cost $3,200 and was done out of grief as the cat was mauled to death by a dog.

The 35 year old fashion designer also cremated the organs and claims the cat now sits on her bedside table. In a tragic turn of events, the dog was being looked after by her before its temperament quickly changed and ended up killing the cat. Speaking on the dramatic death, Soren said “I was walk the dog, the dog saw a bunny, the dog got away from my leash, the bunny crossed my cat, my cat bolted, dog went after the cat, dog attacked my cat. This has been one of the hardest losses of my life and I’ve never experienced anything like this before since her death was such a sudden loss – even though she was 16 years old – I was not prepared for this.”

Replying to @☀️ taxidermy is completely different and freeze drying has less impact on the body tissues, msking the preservation much more ideal. Theres very little chance that she wouldn’t look like herself through freeze dry. Taxidermy can lead to some unsatisfactory outcomes if not taken absolutely seriously. #freezedriedpets #petmemorial #petpreservation #foryou #fypシ

Clearly, this death was very traumatic for the owner – and resorting to taxidermy seems quite extreme by most people’s standards. Nonetheless, this is an example of how grief can really hurt at times and that everyone acts differently. Unfortunately, not everyone saw it this way – with comments including “Mental health help needed” and “The world has gone mad” which were aimed towards Soren after the taxidermy took place.
