RECKLESS Car drives deep into North Campus Golf Course before crashing into tree
This week saw a reckless driver somehow manage to get around 300 feet deep into the Albuquerque North Campus Golf Course before crashing into a tree. As seen in the picture, this looked to be quite a serious crash as it destroyed the front of the car and took a large chunk from the tree. Thankfully though, it didn’t crash into the building that was pictured close by.
This took place near the Hannet section of the golf course which means they must have navigated the car quite well to get as far as they did. What’s even more baffling is that this was most likely done while under the influence.
Above, a police officer can be seen checking out the damaged vehicle. What’s more, is that this was performed in a Toyota Tacoma which means that this car would have been quite valuable. On the positive side, its large front may have saved the driver from serious injuries. Speaking of which, it’s not known whether the driver was apprehended on the scene or whether they fled. Nonetheless, they may be in trouble due to leaving their car and license plates behind.
What’s crazier, is that this looked to have happened during the day. Theoretically, this means that if you were casually playing golf then you may have seen this bizarre scene unfold in between holes. With this story, it seems that there are still a lot more questions than answers.
