School Prank Backfires as Student Left with HUGE Bill
There’s high school drama, but this is something else. Recently, a student named Erin Pavlica donated a Subaru car to Saint Paul Central High School. After being stripped of its parts by the school’s automotive program, kids carried to shell up school stairs and left it there as a prank.
After this, the school’s principal had the vehicle towed. However, the title remained with the aforementioned Erin Pavlica. Since then, discussions with said principal have followed – with the principal in question even going as far as to threaten a lawsuit.
As a result, this young student has to pay roughly $2000 for the car which is currently impounded which seems incredibly harsh, as they didn’t even partake in the prank and the car was donated out of good faith (of which the school even stripped for parts).
Unsurprisingly, this Saint Paul student has received wavering support from the local community after this and a Gofundme was even started. Since then, the organizer has stopped the Gofundme, which hopefully means that the funds have been raised, or the issue has been settled with the school.
Irrespective of this, it doesn’t paint the principal in the best light and shows that sometimes, even people in senior positions can lack common sense. Not only this but even if it does have a happy ending, this is one episode that the student will not forget and will taint their highschool memories forever.
