Yesterday saw one of the biggest car crashes you’re most likely to see in Austin this year. Here, three vehicles collided in between the Koeing and Guadalupe crossroads and left a huge pile of debris in their wake.

This involved two trucks and one smaller car, which sandwiched the one truck into the middle of the others and tipped it onto its side. Despite looking like a fatal crash, it was miraculous news that no one involved got seriously injured. On a positive note, the drivers can all thank their lucky stars to walk away from this one alive, as the image shows just how devastating it could have been.

Cops were quick on the scene and closed the road off, which makes sense as all three cars were written off as a result of their damages. Based on the image provided, it looks as though the red car was turning from the left, which hit the white truck into the blue one. However, this has yet to be confirmed and we don’t know whose fault it was. Irrespective of this, you’d imagine the driver of the white Toyata was in the most danger after being caught in the middle.

On a final note, this should act as an important lesson for responsible driving and always remember, if you do hesitate, then going faster isn’t always a good thing. Similarly, just because you drive a big truck shouldn’t mean that you own the roads or that you’re invisible either.
