Sparkling Blueberry Ice Cream Floats
You guys, this week was National Best Friends Day! I am a little bit late to the party, but you know what? I hang out with my besties on days other than National Best Friends Day, too 🙂
I has some of my best girl and guy friends in mind when I created this fun, optionally-boozy float using IZZE Sparkling Blueberry Juice. This post is created in partnership with IZZE, by the way.
So one thing that I have learned, especially with the crazy hot weather we’ve been having, is that ice cream makes just about everything better. Maybe not like… spaghetti (or does it?). But when it comes to a sparkling, fruity beverage… well, ice cream just takes it to another level.
And I have to say…. I am a genius. I usually think my recipes are pretty good but this sparkling blueberry float is sooo gooooooooooooooooooooooooood.
We’re getting some work done on our house right now, so we are taking a small break from entertaining. But when the work is done, there will be a barbecue! And then we will actually get to celebrate National Best Friends Day a little late. And I might just have to grab some more IZZE blueberry so I can make these for the crowd.
I wanted a decadent blueberry swirl in my floats, so I went with a vanilla and blueberry option. I think another type of berry would also be fun – or vanilla bean, or pistachio!
And also, I have a confession. When I made these little babies for my photoshoot, I drank them both. By myself. In the span of about five minutes. I regret nothing!!
Sparkling Blueberry Ice Cream Floats
Ingredients
- 1 12 oz. bottle IZZE blueberry sparkling juice
- 2 large scoops of ice cream
- OPTIONAL: 1 oz. gin
Instructions
- Make sure to chill sparkling juice before making this beverage!
- IF using gin, begin by adding 1 oz of gin each to two 10-12 oz glasses. Next, top with IZZE sparkling juice, leaving a good amount of space for ice cream. Finally, top with a scoop (or more) of your favorite ice cream! I used a blueberry swirl in mine.
