‘Stupid’ locals cause HUGE fire after Austin cookout
A huge fire was recently captured after a local idiot decided to grill food directly under trees. It goes without saying that common sense was absent with this individual who didn’t think ahead when placing flames in direct contact with trees and foliage. Not to forget, this also took place in over 100 Fahrenheit temperatures.
The scene that looked directly out of a horror movie took place off Menchaca, Austin and was filmed by a resident who shared his video on the website Reddit. As terrible as the flames looked though, the user later confirmed that the flames were quickly put out by the local fire crew who were quick on the scene.
Thankfully, this was cut out quickly, but by the looks of things – it could have quickly spread and caused a disaster to the local environment. Even still, it probably still managed to ruin a few trees. If nothing else, this shows to always think ahead and be cautious of your surroundings. Saying this, if you’re stupid enough to do this in the first place, then maybe you’ll never learn anyway.
