Although Thai food may not be as popular as certain other, international cuisines – it’s still got its fair share of exciting spots in the Portland Oregon area. In this article, I have written down my favorite 8 Thai restaurants but remember, this isn’t in any particular order.

Pok Pok

This restaurant is famous for its authentic and delicious Thai street food, including dishes like papaya salad, chicken wings, and pork skewers.

A modern take on Thai food with an emphasis on grilled and smoked meats, as well as creative cocktails. Visually, this has one of the most sleek and modern takes on dining in the PDX area.

Hat Yai

A casual eatery serving Southern Thai-style fried chicken, curries, and roti bread.

Mee-Sen Thai Eatery

A cozy spot offering a range of classic Thai dishes, including pad thai, drunken noodles, and curry.

Tarad

A family-owned restaurant serving homestyle Thai dishes like spicy basil fried rice, green curry, and tom yum soup.

Nong’s Khao Man Gai

Known for their signature dish of poached chicken and rice, Nong’s also offers a variety of other Thai dishes and street food.

Thai Peacock

A popular spot for authentic Thai cuisine, including curries, stir-fries, and noodle dishes. One of the things I love about Thai Peacock is that the food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious.

Khao San

A casual eatery offering traditional Thai dishes, including pad thai, green curry, and massaman curry with lots more . As you can see in the photo, you can even dine in a real tuk tuk that is situated inside the restaurant. It doesn’t get much cooler than that.
