Found on Craigslist, this 2000 Nissan Frontier is technically the cheapest car for sale in Philadelphia. However, as you’d expect for a car with that title – it’s going to come with a few problems. In fairness, there were other cars for the same price, but we checked and they were riddled with problems.

Speaking of problems, this car isn’t perfect. Having said this, if the owner is genuinely true to their word then it may be a bargain. Remember to give emphasis to the words may be. So, how much is this motor worth? The seller wants to get $1000 for it. As ever with this sort of stuff, you could perhaps get a discount though as there’s often a bit of wiggle room. Obviously, these days you’re not really going to get much for more than $1000 though.

Based on the pictures, this car isn’t too shabby – still, it’s listed as ‘fair’ for a reason. Upon further expectation, there’s also another issue that wasn’t mentioned. As seen in the picture above – it has two flat tires. While this won’t be too expensive, it still adds more to the cost and makes you wonder if there’s anything else that isn’t mentioned.

Anyway, the main problem listed is the brake lines. These usually cost around $500 each to repair, so they would set you back a little. Still, if you spent around $1500 on this car, then you would be $2500 down in total. This really isn’t bad when you factor in the average price of this model, which usually goes for around $5000.

As ever with used cars – there’s an element of luck when buying and it’s not always easy. Nonetheless, if you’re in the West Chester area then you could just pick up a bargain!
