This is the cheapest rental in Tampa – But it comes with a HUGE catch

July 5, 2023 by 5 Comments

According to Zillow, the median rent price for living in Tampa is $2350 per month. While this may not be as high as places like New York City, it still shows just how expensive Tampa is these days. So, if you heard about a property that was available for as little as $800 a month then you may be excited. However, like all things in life – there’s often a catch and nothing comes easy.

In this case, the property in question is tiny – and has literally been described by some as a shed. In the below video, the realtor creatively describes it as cozy which is certainly one way of putting it. Unfortunately, the square footage isn’t listed, but it would be surprising if this place was over 10 square feet! Check out the video as words don’t do it justice.

As seen, it doesn’t have a bed and is literally one small room with a kitchen and separate bathroom. Not only this, but the front door looks damaged and has graffiti on it. The Tiktok comments clearly found this funny, with one person writing: “Where’s the rest of the house? I just suffocated watching this.” while another claimed: “This is def a remodeled FL shed, if you know, you know.”

Overall, it would be interesting to see if this property actually rents out for this price. As crazy as it seems, you could potentially see someone living there on a short-term basis if they were desperate enough.

they focus on Immigrations family first way top of waiting list. Try Senior living apartments. They help with your budget. It helps lot. Try to call Lake Sumter Reserve senior.com you will see on bottom in Tampa have one like here, include wheelchair. They will explain more. They do have next unit for single or family apts

The $800 shed/apt only has a tiny window in bathroom. In real estate, the definition of a room/apt vs. a closet enclosure, is in fact…a window. May not be legal.

Yes. That is correct in Florida you must have a window in the main room… fire code requires it
