Timelapse shows EPIC cloud formation seen over Colorado Springs
There’s clouds, and then there’s Colorado Springs clouds. Recently, the city has experienced some very curious weather, to say the least. Yesterday evening, it was a unique cloud formation that stole the show. Now, you may be thinking that clouds aren’t exactly exciting, however this one was truly unique. In fact, it was so epic that one man even got down on his knees and bowed to the cloud – which may have been ironic but still shows how interesting it was.
Others claimed that it almost looked like a nuclear explosion due to the way it opened at the top. Not only this – but the cloud also had a strange glow to it which made it even more quirky. The photo in question was taken in the Stenson Hills area of the city.
As seen above, this cloud just seemed to keep growing and expanding as if it was explosive. One local put it well when they claimed the cloud was equally phenomenal while being simultaneously terrifying. Sometimes, nature can really bring you back down to earth and offer a fascinating visual spectacle. Recently, Colorado Springs has been spoiled by some very rare and unique acts of nature. Thankfully this was captured which shows just how beautiful life can be.
I thought it looked like the cloud from Close Encounters of the Third Kind, so I watched the movie.
