Unmarked Cop Car Saves the Day – Alleged domestic abuser arrested
Yesterday saw a dramatic turn of events in the Ridgefield area which saw a cop car scoop in and arrest an alleged domestic abuser. According to eyewitnesses, a driver in a Jeep Cherokee was hitting the passenger when an unmarked car pulled them over and made an armed arrest on the culprit.
This occurred during lunchtime and a different source claimed that the perpetrator was seen violently beating the female passenger earlier on in a car park in Ridgefield. At some point, the SBI was notified and then handed it over to the police after the culprit drove off. This culminated in the swoop which could have gone terribly wrong had the police not intervened.
As seen in the image above, two unmarked policemen aim their firearms at the alleged abuser. Since being reported, the Asheville police force was congratulated for their quick thinking and common sense policing. In short, this is a great example of police helping the local community and making people safe.
Not only would this have been dangerous and incredibly scary for the passenger, but it also poses the question of safety for other road users. Had the driver been busy assaulting the passenger, then this would have made their driving far less safe as well due to lack of concentration and physically having their hands off the wheel.
Hopefully, this is sorted and the victim can get the justice they deserve. On a final note, this could have ended far worse and as mentioned, thankfully the Asheville police force saved the day.
