Car EXPLODES Outside Of Angry Portland Residents Home

A car parked outside of a regular citizens house has exploded after being set on fire. One Portland resident described this as “the last straw” given that there were so many warning signs and police had been called to the neighbourhood several times without a resolution.

The car in question had been left outside on the street for 5 days – which is not a huge problem within itself. People can often leave their cars for extended periods of time and this isn’t that unusual.

However, the car was causing a LOT of problems. First of all, people were not quite living out of the car, but it was being used to both take and buy drugs from. It’s not known whether the vehicle was stolen or whether the inhabitants were consistently sleeping in the vehicle, but they were also actively trying to sell off car parts whilst the vehicle was still parked in the street.

Furthermore, as you would expect, there were several heated arguments and fights outside of the vehicle, which is not exactly what you would want on a residential street. If you pay your taxes to the city, there is no reason that you should have to put up with this kind of behaviour outside of a family home.

Police were reportedly called numerous times, but failed to take any kind of action before the car was set on fire, exploded and has now left a white residue in the street.

Ironically, residents living on the street claim that the car will be towed very soon because the tone deaf Portland city council is installing a bike lane on this side of the street, which will completely remove any roadside parking.

Of course this will resolve the current problem, but it does seem sad that taxpaying residents have to wait for an anti-car agenda to be enforced on their neighbourhoods before any kind of reasonable action is taken to clean it up.

Sad fails to describe this issue or the issue of Portland’s slow decline into a garbage dump. Leaders who can’t lead based on fear of offending or losing their position of power. There is no excuse for this type of behavior from the Mayor the council or the so called Progressive movement
