HUGE Convoy Of Gypsy Joker Bikers Spotted Throughout Portland

June 4, 2023 by 32 Comments

If you thought Portland had enough problems already, you were probably right. One nuisance which is typically overlooked is the presence of the Gypsy Jokers. Yesterday, locals sighted them performing burnouts in Washington County parking lots before moving to the other side of the city in a huge convoy, eventually dispersing in the Gresham area.

Some may think that you can simply ignore biker gangs, but it is simply not true. For business owners, it means that customers will certainly not want to go to certain areas. If any trouble does begin to happen, they are at the mercy of the gang, since they cannot fight back against such a dangerous organization.

One local resident mentioned that after a firebomb attack on their neighbours property at the hands of the Gypsy Jokers, their business then had to be shut down for 6 months before repairs were made.

With everything else going on in the city, it makes people wonder, do the police actually have the resources to stop a 200 deep motorcycle gang?

The former Portland clubhouse (Martin Luther King Jr Bvld 97212) of the Gypsy Jokers was sold last year and is now a recording studio.

About The Gypsy Jokers

The Gypsy Jokers gained a reputation as a tough and sometimes violent motorcycle gang. They have been involved in criminal activities such as drug trafficking, assault, extortion, and other organized criminal endeavors. Over the years, law enforcement agencies have closely monitored their activities due to their involvement in illegal and violent actions.

In Oregon, the Gypsy Jokers have had a presence since the 1960s. The club established multiple chapters throughout the state, with Portland being a significant hub for their activities. The Gypsy Jokers were known for their distinctive club colors, which typically include a skull wearing a motorcycle helmet.

Throughout their existence, the Gypsy Jokers have faced numerous legal challenges and conflicts with rival motorcycle clubs. They have been involved in clashes with other outlaw motorcycle gangs, such as the Hells Angels and the Mongols, leading to violent confrontations. In 2019, five high profile members were sentenced to life after a variety of extremely violent and horrific charges.

I agree with Mary from June 4th. The members I’ve ran into in the past I treated with respect and kindness and got the same in return. And they really like to party while I was singing Radar Rider by Golden Earring karaoke night years back.

Perhaps the Joker’s can start cleaning up Portland by removing the homeless, drug users and those other gangs in the area?

  14. Jon says:

We are definitely safer with that level of control.law inforcement has no control at that level.just look at the streets now!

Safer with them in town for sure! You’re talking about a group that has been together and successfully worked for decades! I bet crime drops over the next few months.

Can you ever imagine that we would all be siding with the Jokers taking over our cities ! Omfg. Hats off Gypsy Jokers! You have now gotten the backing of the residents of Portland! Now that is a new one!

  17. Brenda says:

I agree with previous comments. I would rather have them than the scary people we have now. The Jokers have always been nice to me. They don’t go around beating random people or rioting.

My late ex-husband and friends were bikers, although not in a club. I would want a biker in my corner if I ever needed help. Some of the nicest people I’ve met.

  21. Jane says:

With all these weirdos trying to break in to houses or stealing. Have a Gypsy Joker or 2 or 3 be riding around our neighborhoods.

We sure could use them here in Portland plus surrounding areas!

  22. MeanPatriotBroad says:

Jokers are old school. They don’t commit acts of violence on random people for no reason. The only time you should worry about violence from the Jokers, is if you’ve made a business deal with them and didn’t keep your end of the bargain…or if you start some violence with them.

  23. Bad Matt says:

Twenty years ago, my motorcycle was broken down on the side of the road and a tow truck pulled over and gave me and my motorcycle a ride home. From overhearing his phone conversation during the drive, I extrapolated this Good Samaritan was either a Gypsy Joker or a Hells Angel.

  24. Trevor says:

I ride solo, I don’t know many bikers but have good instincs I believe biker groups can be much more effective than a police force and they seem to be FAIR kind of people, unless I do something to wrong someone or anyone, I would trust them hands down.
