If you haven’t already noticed, the Pho Le Nguyen Vietnamese Restaurant in Parkrose went viral on social media for all of the wrong reasons.

The obvious spelling error was unfortunately only spotted once the entire sign was completed. Although it’s not as bad as it looks from first glance since the owners will likely have to only repaint 3 characters, rather than the entire sign.

We asked the owners about this and they confirmed it was a genuine mistake and not for the publicity which the restaurant will no doubt gain from this event.

For anyone interested in dining at Pho Le Nguyen, it is located at 10902 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97220 and opens from 9:30AM – 8:30PM seven days per week.

As you would expect, the restaurant serves freshly made Vietnamese food and has excellent reviews online.

Overall, this simple mistake will likely be a profitable one for the restaurant owners. Without this event happening many people would likely not know that the restaurant existed until today!
