Irvine Driver rear ends cars in ‘needless’ accident
An Irvine driver was recently described as stupid (among a list of harsh expletives) for dangerously rear-ending a car queuing in a line of traffic. This footage was captured by the dashcam of a passing car. Here, the red car (seen in the corner) smashes into the back of the white one. This ultimately damages four vehicles including the culprit, as well as a ricochet effect that forced the hit car into the back of two others. This took place on Jamboree & South of Michaelson, Irvine.
Unfortunately, the first car that was on the receiving end of the crash got hit the worst, and it may have been totaled due to the sheer force of the crash. Having said this, the fourth car didn’t come off too badly and will probably be ok. Nonetheless, you’d definitely expect whiplash for the red and white cars.
The car that caused the crash was criticized en masse online, and rightly so. Here, one Irvine resident wrote, “I’ll bet folding money Red was looking at their phone. Stupid person. Hope no one was hurt.” while another agreed, claiming “I’ll bet folding money Red was looking at their phone. Stupid ass. Hope no one was hurt.”
This shows just how important it is to always keep your concentration on the roads and not to get too arrogant. Sadly, too many people think they’re untouchable and end up using phones which is really not a good idea. With this said, we can only hope that all of those involved with the crash come out ok – but sadly this is an all too common sight in Irvine these days.
