Tier List Of Portland Grocery Stores Divides Shoppers Opinions With Controversial Take

A tier list of grocery stores in Portland drastically divided opinions based on where it ranked several beloved stores.

The tier list was always going to divide people since if everyone could agree on the best place to buy groceries then there likely wouldn’t be 14 different brands to choose from.

The said list was based on value for money combined with the quality of food you receive. Meaning that the options were not just based on price or quality of food alone, but both combined. This way of judging allows cheaper stores to compete against higher costing grocers provided that they offer genuine value for money.

Perhaps the two choices that angered shoppers the most were both Trader Joe’s and Market of Choice which many people considered to be at the very least “B” tier, with some suggesting “A”.

Many shoppers also considered Whole Foods to be “D” tier claiming it should never be above the likes of Safeway or Albertsons.

One main talking point which almost everyone agreed on was that Costco should certainly be in the “Superb” tier and was a cut above the competition. Costco seems to be a fan favorite all accross America with people from all income brackets choosing to shop there.

What do you think is the worst positioned grocer on this list? Let us know below in the comments.
